What is the difference between DC and AC centrifugal fans?
DC centrifugal fans use direct current to power a brushless motor, offering higher energy efficiency, quieter operation, and speed control via PWM. AC centrifugal fans run on alternating current and are simpler in wiring but lack variable speed capabilities. DC fans are better suited for applications that require dynamic airflow control, such as HVAC systems, electronics cooling, or IoT-connected environments.
