What is the lifespan of a brushless DC centrifugal fan compared to brushed types?
Brushless DC centrifugal fans typically last 2–4 times longer than brushed fans. With lifespans of 50,000–70,000 hours (or more), they offer better efficiency, quieter operation, and require far less maintenance. Brushed fans, by contrast, suffer from faster wear due to mechanical friction and are less reliable for continuous duty cycles.
